The core purpose of the construction of the centralized control system for camera robots is to solve two problems. First, through technologies such as automatic control, AI artificial intelligence, and remote control, develop camera robot clusters to enable a wide range of audio-visual production users to achieve a video production method of "machines replacing humans or assisting humans". Second, through high-precision sensing and advanced three-dimensional spatial positioning algorithms, the integrated shooting of virtual and real images is achieved, allowing the video display format to break through the boundary between virtual and real, creating a revolutionary visual perception.
Professional audio-visual production users, such as news agencies and TV channels, through concepts such as "unattended studios" and "one-person studios", have studio equipment involved in program production, such as lighting, audio, servers, switchers, sound consoles, matrices, packaging, virtual implant engines, etc., controlled by the centralized control system according to preset program schedules and timelines, with less and less manual intervention, thereby optimizing the production method of process-oriented programs. Another example is the "remote medical operating room" for new audio-visual users in hospitals in specific scenarios. Using 5G or the public network, concealed camera positions in the operating room are remotely controlled by cameramen in other locations to conduct "undisturbed" recordings of the doctor's operations, the patient's local conditions, and the cooperation scenes of medical staff. The footage is used for consultation with doctors in different cities and for teaching and research by medical students. These new audio-visual scenarios have given rise to the demand for new robot cameras. As one of the most important components of video acquisition, the camera system can control multiple camera robots through the centralized control system, achieving trajectory setting and remote control of the camera's pitch, horizontal movement, movement, elevation, focusing, and zooming, and realizing a truly full-degree-of-freedom picture presentation.
