Squirrel Lens Controllers

A cleverly designed camera lens controller for Steadicam stabilizer shooting.

The main feature is that it allows cameraman to control the zoom of almost all lenses with one hand, including studio cameras and cine cameras. This design enables cameramen to have more artistic freedom in zoom, focus, or adjusting the iris while using a stabilizer to get the shots they need.

The lens controller uses digital circuit design, which is very resistant to interference from the shooting environment:

1. For digital fully servo Canon or Fujinon lenses, you can control the zoom and focus functions with just one lens cable. You can also switch between iris and focus through function selection;

2. For cine camera lenses, it can match up to three lens motors of the same brand for zoom control;

3. The controller also has preset buttons for lens zoom. Cameraman can save their preferred zoom settings and quickly recall them during shooting, which improves work efficiency;

4. This controller also has a personalized software upgrade interface. Cameraman can customize their own functions remotely and get a lens controller with unique features just for them.

In terms of mechanical structure, the controller has been optimized in many ways. It has a strong grip to hold the lens securely and prevent slipping during shooting. The larger crab claw design can fit most stabilizer diameters and still be comfortable to operate. It's small in size, so it takes up minimal space on the stabilizer handle and doesn't restrict the cameraman's wrist movements. The cable exits from the side to avoid interfering with the stabilizer structure.
